Why was it risky to be a prophet? Because then like now ruthless men in power killed opponents. Russia is a case in point. Anyone who stands for truth is a risk. Like today’s Labour party?? (Though not as extreme)

Yes people today who speak the truth can be at risk if the person/ people in power do not like what they hear. Currently the election of a new conservative leader in the UK is taking place (July ‘22) to replace Boris Johnson – early stages and voting by MPs but it takes courage of the candidates to be honest / serve and not all politicians like such comments & will not vote for those candidates… but maybe the people/ electorate can support them ?
as they want honesty even if the people in power do not
