Why was Pharaoh stubborn? Because we all get over-invested in our own positions, and in crises it is even harder to change tack.
But did God actually do all this killing? And can I follow such a God? Big question!
It is important to note that prior to this judgement, God warns Pharoah – do Pharoah had a choice but he ignored it. The Egyptians worshiped many gods & Pharoah was supreme – but God needed to show that the only God was God – and to set Israelites free.
Regarding climate change – yes there is parallels as God is showing us many signs of distress through nature – but we seem to be largely ignoring them as we are entrenched in our lifestyle / position and not willing to change.
Praying that we can all see + hear these signs & open our hearts to change ❤️
