Do not take God’s name in vain. It is not enough to go to church but then live by different values in life. Teo faced & God’s knows this.

Again, for me, regular prayer time / time with God is important to live in God’s way & a more spirited life.

my call? to share spirit, connect & love with others. Be a channel for the Holy Spirit. Currently I think about inequality and pray / think / listen to God how I can help – I’ve just completed Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages) – and am looking to now teach English.

the greatest gift we have been given is life (spirit in us + time on earth). The greatest gift we can give to others is our time, attention, love. When we do this are we living “in spirit” and do we feel more connected to others / at peace and less isolated?

without social justice there is no true heart or love for others.

very difficult as my tendency (& I hope, believe God’s might be) is to always “keep the door open” for people who do not see or hear etc might change. But when do we stop running after people who don’t change – is it better to ease off & stop running after these people ….? But I’d like to think I’d always be able to keep my door , my heart open for them if they came knocking. And keep them in my prayers too.

It would be a wonderful world if justice, mercy & love were always present. I need to exercise humility, forgiveness, love & have courage for this . Prayer time with God helps me.

I think everyone has access to “the kingdom of God” & it’s up to us to choose. If we spend time in prayer & quiet time with God / ourselves – I think our heart/ God tells us / we hear & know the right path – but to find this path we need to have prayer time & make time to find our route forward. I guess like any “route / map planning” you need to spend time – & that for Gods path & access into God’s kingdom is through prayer . It’s not easy but it’s possible for everyone – regular prayer & making enough time for it helps me .

wow! what a story – it seems unbelievable that Daniel could be saved from the lions. Since starting Bible in Brief 4 months ago morning prayer had become a regular habit & I love it so much – it is (one of) the most important things I do. I feel more calm, clear, strengthened, focussed on priorities (God’s path). Thank you God.

I have been reading the Bible in Brief for 4 months – so going at half speed ! ? 3-4-5 times per week. At the same time / beforehand I have been spending time in prayer – first thing in the morning. It has been a wonderful experience which have not done before. I feel much more peaceful – I am loving this time with God in prayer, just being, discussing, listening. It has become very important to me to develop & strengthen my relationship with God through prayer. Thank you.

very powerful – to really acknowledge our sins & ask for forgiveness + to be mindful of others & take action to help others.

wow! Nehemiah was just an ordinary person (servant / cup bearer to King of Persia) – but became a “transformational” leader & rebuilt the walls of the city of Jerusalem in 52 days! It started with prayer to God + clear vision + employed several other “leadership” qualities & strategies

each of us are stronger / better together – supporting each other. We need to come together as a family & care for each other to move forward together rather than on an individual
basis. Community worship & prayer unites us as a family with God as our father.
